The Uttar Pradesh Board on Sunday has announced its much awaited results of High School (Class 10).

The students appeared in exams can check their results now. According to a Board official the result was declared at 12:30 PM.

Students who wrote their paper need to submit their Roll Number/Roll Code inscribed in their admit card/hall ticket to access their results.

"A total of 34,98,430 had registered for state board exams while approximately Six lakh students couldn't appear", a statement issued by board said. This is the first time when UP Board has announced Class 10 and 12 results altogether.

Matriculation exam was held across various examination centres from February 19 to March 11 (within 15 working days). 

Girls had outperformed boys in Class X examination last year. A stat issued by Board said that " A total of 33.34 lakh students had appeared in the examinations and 28.91 lakh (86.71 per cent) of them secured pass marks."

The pass percentage of girls (90.86) was significantly higher than that of the boys (83.25), even when the girls pass percentage saw a drop of 0.39 per cent compared to last year' results.
